Kate Moss, “The Boss”.

Kate Moss (London, January 16, 1974, Capricorn), the queen of fashion, celebrates her 25 years on the catwalks and publishes “Kate” a retrospective book of his career.

She was discovered in 1988 by Sarah Doukas (the founder of Storm model agency) at the age of 14 embarking on a flight from New York to London. Since then she has continued to be the protagonist of fashion shows and countless advertising campaigns. Now, at 39, lives happily with her husband Jamie Hince and daughter Lila (from her relationship with Jefferson Hack).

A mí me fascina, personalmente.

Magnetic, chameleonic, in her beginning, she was not a common model, so highlighted in 1993 in the parade of Versace among others, being the most repeated. She was the anti-supermodel. Now she is the queen, the boss, as “Kate Moss is The Boss”. I am fascinated, personally. $10 million annually according to Forbes magazine. Not bad. According to the same publication, she is considered one of the richest and most influential celebrities in the world.

Aunque no me sorprende.

She can do what she wants, when she wants and because she wants to, because of being a supermodel and having so much influence. For better or for worse. She has starred in numerous scandals. Sex, drugs and rock & roll, seems to have been one of her claims on many occasions. Although I’m not surprised. She is fashion. She is the queen. And the higher you are, at hand you have all the best and worst (each one chooses). And not only does this happen in the world of fashion, but in all.

Kate Moss ModeltalkKate Moss photo by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott, Body Conscience series for Love #3, S:S 2010Tremendamente obsesionada por la delgadez, fue duramente criticada por sus declaraciones: Nothing tastes as good as skinny does’ (‘Nada sabe tan bien como estar delgada’).

Tremendously obsessed with thinness, she was heavily criticized for her statements: Nothing tastes as good as skinny does. They were said in 2009 when asked about the eternal debate of thinness on the catwalks and in advertising. Without hesitating, she added: “It’s one of my mottos. You try and remember, but it never works. “

Her ex-boyfriend Depp (they maintained a relationship from 94 to 97) gave her clues about fame and success to keep the mystery about her personal life, becoming a myth, “He said, never complain, never explain. Therefore I do not use Twitter or anything like that. I do not want people to always know what is true and what isn’t true about me. That’s what helps keep the mystery, “she commented in a recent interview at the launch of the book.

Now she is living one of the highlights of her career, so they say, its not very intimate, so I, have no idea.

Will the new book be a positioning tool and improve her reputation? What is clear is that she is the ultimate higlight. The Queen. She has the crown that she will not leave until she get tired, if she ever does …

She is one of the bad girls and pampered with fashion, but I like it. She must be doing something right as its not easy making $10 million dollars a year and also being one of the most bankable celebrities of the world, right?

And you, what do you think?

You´re right! Eso sí, tiene un innegable magnetismo!
